Tony Rossi, MBA, CMCO is a Veteran, recovering data center manager, and an advocate for life-long learning. He spent 8 years in the US Navy as a nuclear mechanical operator and nuclear power instructor. Completing an MBA, he transitioned into the private sector through mission critical facilities management. He held progressively senior roles in operations management, ultimately leading to full business and operational responsibility for a 250MW portfolio of enterprise and hyper-scale data centers. Tony then took over the finance and accounting program for a leading e-commerce company's global data center spend. He is currently a systems engineer for the global leader in communications network equipment manufacturer, responsible for supporting the technical needs and designing digital infrastructures for enterprise clients in the SouthEast. Tony is actively involved in 7x24 Exchange Carolinas, Infrastructure Masons, and NC Technology Association, having held leadership or advisory roles with them all. He provided guidance throughout the entire lifecycle of the National Consortium for Mission Critical Operations development and is the lead author for the foundational textbook Fundamentals of Mission Critical Operations. Tony lives and works out of Charlotte, NC.
